Updates on engine progress and future projects

New Acquisition : Spring 2007 A local engine man kindly donated a Fowler Diesel 6Hp engine to us , the engine is a bit rough and was seized but now free thanks to a good soak in diesel , The big end is completely shot with about 10mm play so god knows what happened there, should make a nice project in time pictures will follow.

Update : 20-6-07      Bamford SD4 is now back up and running , new big end rings and little end along the way still a pig to start while the rings bed in. can be seen running in the video section . First outing will be Astle park 1000 engine rally

What's next : At long last the Lister N has reached the front of the queue, we already have  a chassis lined up which needs new wood which we hope to use  as screen cooling set up, the engine needs to be sand blasted, flywheels skimmed and a few pieces manufactured.

New Acquisition : 21-7-07  A new arrival can be seen under the engines section in the form of a 8hp Petter Junior bought by auction in Cambridge its a fair lump.

New Acquisition : 29-9-07  After a small ebay purchase we have now managed to complete the set of Petter appletops by bringing home a 1.5hp version, pictures to follow soon.

New Acquisitions : 24-2-08  We have officially spent up for the year by securing A 8hp Petter S type and an 5 hp Petter Atomic pumping set .

Up and Running  : 4-5-08   The Petter M junior 8 hp is now up and running more details and video have been added to the page.
