This engine was purchased from the Malpas yesteryear auction,
the engine was in such good order mechanically that only a repaint and a new
chassis was required. The original chassis was the skid type with tool box and
tank mounted on it, The original silver leaf transfer were still quite
visible so we had some reproductions made from the original design to finish the
restoration off nicely. This is one of our favourite engines and is a really
reliable runner and a tribute to R.A. Lister and what they did best.
