International M 3hp

This engine was purchased from a trader many years ago, It sat un-restored for a good few years, and  was restored in 2005 to the condition you see now, It needed many repairs including a cracked governor weight bracket and a replacement governor sleeve.  It was interesting to note that when we stripped the engine it had been stripped and de-carbonised before, including a brand new old style champion spark plug which had  never run. I think whoever did this must have been servicing the engine but then damaged something so it was never finished.  This engine is petrol paraffin engine being started on petrol and then switched to paraffin when warm. The date is unknown as all the brass components were removed some time in the past including the data plate, approx date is 1930`s
